Some people prefers spend their holidays in one place or in the same city when they live. Other people like travelling in their holidays because they can see other cultures, countries and cities. Furthermore travelling is so expensive.
I personally think that travelling around the world in holidays is more successful than spend holidays in one place because spend in the same place all the holidays or all the year is very boring. For example if you live in Badalona and you travel to Madrid, you go out all the time seeing monuments, museums, parks, etc. Moreover when you decided to travel another place or country you feel better because you forget the routine and you can meet new people, likely new friends.
To conclude, I believe that travelling is the best activity you can do on holidays because is relaxing, comfortable and healthier, but it's so expensive for people who don't have enough money to spend. However you can travel for "low cost".
