The main characters are Sophie
Nélisse stars as Lisesel Meminger, Geoffrey Rush as Hans Hubermann and Emily
Watson as Rosa Hubermann, The film is about a
young girl, whose parents are died, and her living with her adoptive German
family during the Nazi era. Taught to read by her foster father, the girl

by her foster parents in their home.
The film is considered as the “fresher perspective on the war” in
the story and it earned over $77 million

for its score. For her performance in the film, Sophie Nélisse won the Hollywood Film Festival Spotlight
Award, the Satellite Newcomer Award and the Phoenix Film

The film is never boring because the
plot is so well-written and the actors are well- acting in all the film.
In conclusion The Book Thief is an
incredible film that shows the time of the Nazi era through a young girl who is
adopted by a German family. This film is
one of the best film I’ve never seen and
I recommend for all the people.
