FORMAL LETTER (Marouane Sahraoui and Alejandro B.)

Carrer de Provença, 427                                                   Maria Cristo, 3994
Barcelona                                                                            Badalona
                                                                                              21 March 2013

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing to complain about false advertising in regards to posting networks and posters, specifically hamburgers, where an image is clearly not the same as the final product.

Although I am a firm believer in freedom of expression, I was appalled by the disrespectful assumptions from corporations which have a duty to the public, but instead sell an image, not the truth. While I appreciate that the position of producers is a desire to sell their products, you need to sell the truth, not falsehoods to society.

While I accept that one letter is unlikely to force a change in your advertising campaign, I can assure you there are many men and women who share my feelings about your hamburgers. I hope you change the way you advertise to consumers and change to something more real, selling us reality. I am looking forward to hearing  from you in the near future and hope you will reconsider your advertising strategy. All of us from society are against false advertising until reality is achieved.

yours faithfully,

Marouane Sahraoui and Alejandro B.
